We are a web design company based in Leicestershire. SWD was the brainchild of Tom Arnold-Hames, a former IT manager consultant from Leicester. Tom has been in the IT sector for more than 20 years offering support for small to medium businesses throughout Leicester and the surrounding areas. After graduating from University with a Forensic Computing degree, Tom specialised in building custom databases for companies throughout the UK, this later developed into web databases where Tom really started to gain an interest in web design. What started as a hobby, developed into a passion and with his web development skills, decided to fly solo in 2022.
Sirius Web Design takes pride in designing websites. Customer satisfaction and ultimate end-user experience is our main goal. Since our launch, we are designing and building immaculate websites and providing web solutions which are a cut above the rest. We work closely with our clients to really get to know the way they do business and what they actually need from a digital marketing team before we suggest any changes. How we work.
1 Contact us! We then set up a meeting either face-to-face or over Zoom. We will discuss your website needs, domain names and preferred colour scheme. Once we have agreed on a setup price, we will go away and do the necessary background work to get your domain name registered, set up your domain emails and start the foundations of the site.
2 As we start the design you will be assigned a private URL so you can see the site being designed and changes made on daily/hourly basis. We find this important for the client as if there are any concerns, they can be flagged up and addressed. All the required pages will be created, ready for you to provide us with the site's material.
3 Once the site is completed and you are happy, we will ask you to go through it so you become familiar with your new site. We will show you the ropes with WordPress, and then transfer it to your domain name. We then register the site with search engines and change the necessary DNS records for your site to become live. And that's it!
